Motion X-rays Overview
At Results Chiropractic Center, we are dedicated to offering the latest chiropractic techniques available today. As you are aware, there have been many recent advances in modern health care. Our practice employs the use of low-dosage motion x-ray technology, called videofluoroscopy or complex motion x-ray (CMX). It utilizes low level radiation which, due to advances in image intensification technology, is capable of producing diagnostic-quality images without increasing the risk of radiation exposure posed by standard x-rays. This advanced technology enables Dr. Broskoskie to make a more thorough diagnosis of spinal misalignments. Because the spine is a moving and dynamic structure, videofluoroscopy allows Dr. Broskoskie to detect subluxations and misalignents by actually viewing your spine while in motion. Regular x-rays alone do not reveal the essential inter-vertebral motion of the spine in real time. Videofluoroscopy enables the doctor to customize a program of chiropractic care, ensuring cost-effective results in a timely manner.
